Nacar Space
Overview
Nacar, a design agency situated in the vibrant city of Barcelona, has partnered with the IED Master in Interaction Design to reimagine and revitalize their internal employee platform, Nacar Space.
This platform is a central hub that shares important information and valuable resources with all Nacar employees. Our mission involved understanding the pain points and issues within the existing Nacar Space, as well as delving into the habits of Nacar employees.

Process
Methodology
Our redesign of Nacar Space was guided by the effective Double Diamond Design Thinking method. The project was divided into four stages: Discovery, Define, Develop, and Deliver spanning six weeks. This approach helped me deeply understand Nacar's needs, generate ideas, develop solutions, and bring them to life.
Research
In the heart of our redesign journey, the Research phase was key. I did thorough desk research, compared with industry leaders, and analyzed trends to discover new opportunities. I gathered data from interviews and surveys to understand challenges and goals. Using techniques like affinity diagrams and empathy maps, I crafted detailed personas and pinpointed the core problems.
Ideation
Collaboratively, I mapped a multitude of opportunities waiting to be explored. This led to the birth of new features: customize the experience, enhance connections, knowledge sharing, organization, content and engagement.
Prototype and Testing
The ideas were turned into low fidelity prototypes. With our focus on user centered design, we tried out these models with three Nacar employees. The really helpful feedback we got – both good and not-so-good – pushed us ahead. We kept working on the event management feature and personalized profiles, using what we learned from testing to make them better.

Outcome
Our redesign proposal is geared towards revitalizing Nacar Space, rendering it not only more efficient but also immensely valuable to its end-users. Looking ahead, our vision for the platform encompasses a strategic roadmap for continuous improvement:
Our immediate step involves optimizing Nacar Space for mobile access, acknowledging the demand for flexible usability in today's landscape.
Next, we're committed to integrating comprehensive HR features that encompass attendance, evaluations, and beyond, fostering seamless employee management.
Ultimately, we aspire to unite all communication channels within the company under the Nacar Space banner, creating a central hub for company-wide interaction.
In essence, our redesign proposal not only revitalizes the platform but also lays the groundwork for its evolution.
